  1. Approximate shipping to Idaho is $57 CDN with Fedex ground (5 business days) or $49 CND with Canada Post Expresspost (4 business days). Canada Post also does a 5-day parcel service, without signature, for $30 CDN.
  2. Yes, I bought these new in the fall of 2012, Chris. Hey, I like your signature! SnowDogwax is second in line :)
  3. Vorlage is fine with me too, and I'm up for trying Edelweiss too. Surprise me ;-) Another PSA... my TD3's are up for sale if anyone's interested. Straight sale, no swap as before. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?43052-TD3-Standard-3-Degree-Cants-Yellow Cheers, Ian :)
  4. Up for sale are a pair of used standard TD3's, that I've ridden on for two seasons. Riding days, probably 40 total. They're in great shape other than one ding on a toe bail, shown in the photos. They feature yellow elastomers, 3 degree cant discs, and come with 4x4 and 3D center discs in case you want to get one last day in on that Burton. All hardware is included, as well as a spare axle and heel bail that I acquired along the way. I'm located in Ottawa, ON, and will ship to Canada or continental US. Shipping is at buyer's expense, but I'll get you multiple quotes and you can choose what price and service suits you. If these look familiar, I had a recent thread offering these in exchange for F2's. I've re-listed these as a straight sale to expand the buyer's pool :) Asking price $290 CDN / $260 US Cheers, Ian M
  5. Board and bindings are sold to energyrail pending payment. Thanks everyone for your interest! Cheers, Ian
  6. Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in responding. I just sent an email to energyrail, and he has first dibs on the goods. Missionman, your enthusiasm is appreciated, but we usually do first-come-first-served here on the forum. Welcome to the forum, by the way! Teach, thanks for offering your setup here also, no problem whatsoever. Thanks everyone, and have a great Wednesday :)
  7. I can't be sure, as I bought them used. They're in pretty good shape... I don't think they've seen a lot of slope time. If you'd like closer pictures, let me know and I'll take them. Maybe if I throw out a price, you'll get more interested. Something like, $50 including shipping to your side of Canada :) Cheers!
  8. This looks way cooler than I thought it would; the smoke is just hanging in the air because it's not windy :D Great work!
  9. Gmail sent to West Carven, and through-the-forum email sent to energyrail. Energyrail, if you don't get the message, please post your email or an offer here in the thread and we'll work something out. Thanks! Ian M :)
  10. Did I get your attention with the water-jet-cut aluminum lift blocks Stephane? ;-) Sure, I can split these up no problem. One thing to caution you about; I found that the center disk screws on these bindings need to be tightened frequently if you ride them hard. On a loaner board it's not an issue, but I wouldn't recommend using them as a primary binding. Cheers!
  11. Thanks for the congratulations, Ben and Jay! It will be an interesting ride, I'm sure :D Just a heads-up that I've posted a couple items for sale, and would give priority to local folk if any of you are interested. Check 'em out! http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?43000-Standard-TD3-swap-for-Standard-F2-Ti http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?43001-Sims-Carve-2-w-Lifted-Snopros And, a well-used padded board case that is free to a good home. It has two snap-in boot bags inside, and is showing a bit of wear. One end of the case has an outside seam that's coming apart, marked in the pic (look for the red circle, right end). It fits two boards up to 185cm with bindings on and two pairs of boots all at the same time. If anyone thinks they'd use it, you're welcome to it, gratuit. Cheers! Ian :)
  12. *** Thank you everyone, this rig is SOLD *** Hi everyone, I put this rig together two years ago to use as a loaner for friends and newbies, but it hasn't seen much action. Can someone else put it to good use? Included are board, bindings with lift blocks, and a basic Rossignol board bag. The board is in good condition, and has tons of camber. I've ridden it several times, and it's quite a decent board considering that it's fibreglass. Lots of camber, and the stiffness is suited to people around 160-190lbs for East coast freecarving. West coasters could be lighter, approximately 130-160lbs on groomed powder. Length is 167cm with a 21cm waist. The sidecut is moderate, around 10.5-11m, and if someone is interested I'll take measurements to confirm. There's a bit of rust on the tip edging, but overall the base and board are in good condition. A base grind would make it mint. The SnoPro Race bindings are pretty straightforward, other than the custom lift blocks that work out to about a 3 degree lift for a size 27 boot. The aluminum, water-jet-cut lifts are removable, and all the original hardware to put 'em back is included. Would someone like to make a reasonable offer? I'll ship to Canada and continental US. Cheers! Ian M :)
  13. Hi Folks! I voted for Cascades, mostly because of the daytime riding option that I can use because I'm off Mondays :) If the majority swings another way, I'll happily join the group elsewhere. Pass decision aside, let's ride lots of different places this year in addition to our pass! Cheers :D
  14. I love fall... you know why, right? 'Cause it leads to winter :D While it's true that I'll have other priorities later in the season (a baby mid-Feb!), I'm already getting my stoke on about being back out on snow. For a resort choice this year, I'm pretty flexible. I would enjoy the day-time pass at Cascades on my Mondays off, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. Vorlage, Cascades, and Edelweiss are all good options, and riding with friends is the bestest part :D. Thanks to Tabby for leading the conversation. Cheers!
  15. I just watched the WTF 2013 video, and want to give huge props to the photographer(s) who did the stills... they're amazing!
  16. ^ Definitely. You have to know what to ask for... this 'levitation' variant of the Nirvana is amazing! I don't know how Bruce does it XD
  17. Great idea Stephane! I'll do that next time around :)
  18. Hi everyone, Due to a very nasty cold, I won't be able to ride tonight. My apologies for the late notice, I just woke up. I'd love to have an end-of-season gathering with y'all, perhaps I'll organize something with Tabby (who loves to organize) for April. Cheers, Ian

    ECES Clinics

^ Glad to hear you and Catherine enjoyed your hardbooting experience Brian (sp?)! You were both picking it up very quickly, and it was a pleasure working with you! Cheers :D
  20. Hey everyone! These sessions have been amazing lately, so thank you all for coming out and tearing it up. What a pleasure to ride with so many talented folk! This coming week, several of us will be in Vermont for the East Coast Expression Session (ECES). So, there is no organized ride this Tuesday, Feb 25th. We'll be back on the following week, March 4th! Cheers, Ian :D
  21. There's definitely a session tomorrow night, and I think it's my turn to drive :)
  22. ^ That's a nice post, Michelle, with a good general vibe. I do think that we're all 'projects' though, and I really struggled until recently to be emotionally available to my partners. It was mostly because of the support of my current partner that I was able to overcome that! To me, the key lies in how you view the project. Many people see their partner as the project; they say that they love them, but wish to change certain things about their character or behavior. This typically ends in one person's disappointment, right? Instead, if you choose a partner and love them completely for who they are, and see yourself as the project, then you can support each other in your respective evolutions through life. The fact that any motivation to change comes from within rather than from your partner in this scenario is very empowering and healthy.

    ECES Clinics

Hi Jarek! Staying on edge is a great start, and we should be able to help you with both technique and equipment setup. No advance arrangements are required for either clinics or demo equipment... just head to the demo tent (at the base, near the gondola) and you'll find friendly faces! The following clinics are scheduled at the moment: Tuesday 10:30am - Ian M Wednesday 10:30am - Ian M, Dan Lambert (possible afternoon session as well) Thursday 10:30am - Ian M The things that you'd like help with are likely common to other folk too, so you'll be in great company. Looking forward to riding with you, and getting you fired up! :D Cheers, Ian
