Brenden My daughters and I will be up at Summit on Thursday the 12th also, anyone else? Look for a red cap and black jacket and pants. I'll be riding chairs 1 and 2 mostly.

I'm fine, no swelling but my thumb is too wrapped up to fit in my glove right now. But I don't think I can resist riding this Sunday. Hopefully some hero snow. BTW Julian, great drumming videos on your Myspace page.

Boy it sounds like you guys(Andrea and Aaron) took some hits up at bear last Sunday. Hope you both feel better soon. Theo, are you going to Mt High north on Saturday? I may be at East on Sunday if I can fit my thumb with the stitches in my glove.:(

Thanks Dennis, I had a great time. It's always fun riding with other carvers. I'll be up again sometime midweek in the next few weeks.

If you have the time Mammoth is worth the drive. They have a bunch of highspeed quads and 3000 acres and all kinds of terrian. Snow Summit in Big Bear is a local carver favorite, with a good variety of runs and good grooming. Mt High west is crowded with people sliding sideways on snowboards. Mt High east has one great long run but not much variety. Ski Sunrise is now Mt High north and is just a tubing hill right now. Baldy is barely open with one trail. Waterman and Kratka/Snowcrest haven't been open for years(2002?). George

Wolfman I have a full car or else I'd carpool, I'm right off the 210 fwy in the east San Gabriel valley. It seems there will be at least 4 hardbooters there. The last time I used yellow Kolflach hard boots was at Snow Forest! 198?.

Hi everyone I'm going up Tuesday. I'll be the one with the old Raichle Snowboarder boots, Maybe the only one with hardboots! With the cold temps in the mountains the snow may stay good this week. I heard it rained a bit at MH yesterday. Let us know what Monday is like.
