  1. Board: Its a Generics - short 160. Specs are in the images. It was too soft for me, and is best for someone wanting to get into the sport and try it out cheap. Needs to be cleaned up and waxed, edges ground, etc. Used a season, then moved on to an Oxygen SL.
  2. Just issued the label so you should see it come through - they'll ship tomorrow and estimates show Wednesday - keep me posted.
  3. I'm in Boston but if it leaves tomorrow, that's almost 4 days to delivery when priority is usually 2-3 nationally.
  4. Shipping would be $30 and shows delivery by Wednesday via USPS priority. Does that work? paypal is dcteague@comcast.net Daniel
  5. Which boots did you want - I'm assuming the Burton Earth.
  6. I ended up staying over on the smaller side most of the day with my youngest daughter. I saw you come through one time but was on the lift. Great place to board - will be back next weekend maybe when the other carvers are arriving.
  7. I'll be there tomorrow with the family - will keep an eye out for other carvers. If you see someone with bad technique, its probably me .
  8. Burton boots are gone. Boots: If you need parts for the MGX, these are probably worth shipping to you - otherwise, they're going into the garbage. Can't see any mondo sizing on the MGX but the 9 marking on the liner is present so I'm guessing - they always felt a little big on me. The Earth are in good shape for someone that wants to start carving. I've used them but not in several years - just been in the basement waiting for a binding and board. I'll take a reasonable offer on either.
  9. What about the size/length of runs?
  10. How does Berkshire East compare to a place like Wachusett and Crotched in terms of skiing - thinking of my kids/wife and their ability to enjoy the place as well.
  11. If I'm not there Sunday, I'll be there Monday.
  12. Anyone going to be out on Sunday the 20th?
  13. I've really had great days at Attitash - mainly because they have such great wide trails of varying levels and they're all pretty wide.
  14. I've been to a range of places in the region, but would like to hear about people's rankings. What's your favorite spot for carving and why?
  15. Is the board still available?
  16. Anyone going to be carving up at Smuggs during the above week? Plan to be here with my family but often have to separate to allow them to go do the narrow bumpy stuff while I stay on the wider terrain.
  17. Unfortunately the family is about to head up to Crotched so today won't work, and we're up at Smuggler's for a week next week. I'll definitely take you up on the offer if I can meet up with you when I get back.
  18. Anyone go to Crotched? I've pretty much abandoned Wachusett since going to Crotched. No lines, nice wide well groomed slopes - Wachusett is typically a zoo and the slopes are trashed by noon. I'll be up tomorrow if anyone's around.
  19. I've been watching some videos lately to look for any methods that might help me improve my technique. All of a sudden I noticed something that really struck me - I see a lot of hardbooters dive into a carve so that the switch from toe to heelside occurs while traveling across the slope rather than while they're heading downhill vertically. When I think of my last day out, I spent a lot of time transitioning from toe to heelside while traveling vertically downhill. I've always struggled to maintain a constant speed - I always seem to build speed far too quickly and then break the carve to slow myself. Maybe I'm just finding excuses for constantly having to scrub speed by breaking my carve - would be interested in other's views and experience though.
  20. Are these camps occuring throughout the sesason? Would love to come out and join one this season sometime - are you finding sufficient people attending?
  21. Does anyone know how to reach PSR? I couldn't find any contact info on the other site I was directed to. Thanks
  22. Checked the reference page here and found Eric and Keith listed and contacted them both. I'll check with the other Erik if I can find an email.
  23. Are these both complete binding sets and are they still available?
  24. Does anyone provide any instruction close to Smuggler's Notch? I'll be up that way for a week later this month and have been struggling for the past few years and think it may be time to seek some help.
