  1. I suggest an Indie. I have a 165, and I love it. Nice and stiff, great for soft-boot "carving," but can also be ridden with the duck stance. I really recommend it - though Im not sure how long they go
  2. for the heels if they are available
  3. Looking for an intec heel system to go with suzukas. also for suzuka size 25s ... one last post about this before buying them new from bomber ... and 1 question .... If I end up buying new ... should I be going with the 225T's or the Suzuka's? Before the track series came out, i was recommended the suzuka's b/c the lemans would become too soft too fast, and I'm not heavy enough for the Indy's by any stretch (160lbs). However, some have said that the Suzuka's might be too stiff for some time, as I am a new rider. Therefore, I was thinking that the 225T's might be a good idea, as they are slightly less stiff than the Suzuka's, BUT, I also dont want to risk it and have the 225s also become too soft too fast. any thoughts? and thank you in advance
  4. I am interested ... I emailed as well
  5. Hey guys, Looking for a pair of Suzukas size 25 - I know, small feet, ha. ha. - Thermo-flex liners preferred. Let me know if you have anything. thanks

    Deeluxe Suzuka

thank you - my dilemma exactly. they look amazing, but maybe Ray takes amazing care of his boots but has put 100 days on them, or maybe the pictures dont show the wear ... I just wanted to be sure before I start putting my cash on the line... either way, I've emailed him to find out more and ask about price ciao

    Deeluxe Suzuka

what is the actual size of the shell? thanks
  9. If you want really cheap boots, check out the Raichelle (Deeluxe) SB 413. Can be found in the bomber store. go for 150 + shipping. Some people warn against them as they do not have good padding, but if you're just testing it out/want cheap ... could be the right boot for you hope this helps
  10. which model are those (the actual name .. suzuka, indy, etc) Thanks!
  11. the BOL store section has some great deals on demo boards that are now about half off for basically new boards. and in the For Sale section wannabe is selling TD1s for 130 including shipping as well as some other boards and boots (on second glance it might have all just been sold ... but still check out the for sale section). worth a shot
  12. its usually not yourself that you have to worry about, but its the other retards on the mountain. Occasionally when I fall i'll smack my head, but the reason why most people end up being thankful for wearing a helmet is when someone not paying attention clips them or causes them to fall to avoid a collision. its the unexpected times/situations...always a good call in my book
  13. I never had heard of it before, just looked it up, pretty damn weird
  14. whenever anyone mentions new jersey i just think of that shirt
  15. The gloves im talking about i got online. Not sure where, but if you search them on google im sure something will come up As for how they work: as i said the wrist guard is between the liner/shell, its basically just like a skateboarding wrist protector, but just with teh bottom half (so not the strap that wraps around, only the plastic sheet that goes along your palm/wrist). The way you strap it down is the same way you close the glove around the wrist ... by velcroing the glove, it tightens the protector to your wrist hopefully that makes sense
  16. I have a pair of mittens (they also make gloves) with the wrist built in, between a liner and the actual mitten. They are made by "Level" definitely worth it... havent broken my wrist again, and have taken a few nice falls with them
  17. only about 20 days of use on it, most of them short days too! I am very excited for it to arrive, but probably not for a week. Til then I have to find something else to think of, maybe find some boots to spend more money on Gleb, you going into earthfest this weekend for the shows and stuff? ... If so maybe I'll see you in there - assuming it doesnt start pouring rain
  18. this is one of the pictures that Michael sent me, I will upload more when it arrives here and i can take a few myself!
  19. that's what I read in multiple reviews, and for a good price I couldnt pass it up. It also made it way easier to have the bindings and the board come together, saved shipping costs and ease of knowing I was dealing with one person and not two. but the more research (and money spending) I do, the more I wish it wasnt summer, and could get out there and try this stuff out. Last year I went up with Bob Jenney on one of his wednesday board/prototype testing days and road around on a #2 and some other boards, and started to get the hang of it by the end, and was totally hooked, but wasnt able to go again Hopefully the east will get hit by tons of snow this year and there wont be anything to do but board. damn that would suck!! A while ago skatha asked for pix, i know this sounds dumb, but how the hell do I post them? i see the picture post link, and they're saved to my desktop .. now what??
  20. D-sub - I did not, I got them from a Michael Enzo - Thank you very much, that would save me a huge amount of time, I will check it out! Gleb - I hope Ill be able to work something similar out with my parents. I was looking at the ski passes last night, and the All East one sounds pretty sweet, its like 250 and its sugarloaf/sunday river in maine and a few others in NH. Its just too bad that I'm getting all this stuff, and its summer
  21. ya I'm pretty pumped about it. And you're right, books arent that important, its more about the experience. I think my parents would kill me though, they're not paying that kind of money JUST for a good experience, lol
  22. Nah, they are a used pair of Catek olympics that were attached to the coiler i picked up, still good condition though, so saved some money. The Coiler AM looks to be in amazing condition, took Bobdea's advice and went for it when I saw it, had a great price and only about 20 days of riding on it
  23. thanks everyone for their input yet again. Gleb - my budget is basically the Coiler AM/Catek combo i just bought, and then boots. I think my parents are going to help out with the boots, and those might be both my birthday and christmas present! Those will be exciting holidays as I'll already have the boots. I have some flexibility in budget, but it is basically what I make this summer painting/court construction, minus some car payments and then hopefully adding some to the bank for beer/books (in that order) for college Tex - I might make it up to Stratton in a couple weekends to go to the starting gate b/c Im heading to maine with friends after graduation, but I'm not sure how far away stratton is from where I will be. I might just end up ordering size 26 Suzukas (from hardbooter.com ... bomber doesnt have my size :( )
