  1. So first off, I'm not complaining here and hope it doesn't come off sounding like that. This place is great but isn't there a better way to send PM's to members rather than the send an email "form"? After selling a few items recently it became increasingly difficult to keep the numerous emails from Bomber and the correspondence to the parties all straight. Scenario: ( names ficticious) Bommerman55 sends an email via the forum email "form". My email account displays the usual and message from Bommerman55. No problem there. ( I use Gmail). I write back and conversation between me and jprentis@yahoo.c o m ensues. J prentis is Bommerman55. No problem there. Another email later not simply just replied ( or maybe it was, I don't know) to but maybe a new one altogether i snow sent from someone named James and the conversation between me and James is now off and running. James, jprentis@..., and Bommerman55 are the same person. Gmail likes to display the person's name if their email has a "profile name" attached to it. Now imagine multiple replies to the same or even different items.:freak3: Anyway, I know on other forums there is a PM (private message) function that keeps almost like a post running in your message folder until you delete it and the messages are from the Forum username. Very easy to keep things straight. I know forums like this one have this and I've used it and it works great, has it ever been considered here? Have I just missed the lift and not turned something on in my profile? J

    Tanker 192 $300

Yep, Should ship out tomorrow afternoon. Packaging is ugly but she is safe and sound. J
  7. Size is MP (mondo point or mondo) 29. You'll see MP 29, M29, m29 or just 29. Check this for boot sizing http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/Sizing_boots.pdf I think they US equivalent is 12. I wear an 11.5 or 12 depending on brand, sometimes even a 10.5. The Deeluxe fit a little narrower than Head and Upz I think. I believe the Fin-tec and Intec Heels should both fit. See this link http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/Identifying_boots.cfm J
  8. For Sale, one complete pair of SnowPro bindings. All original hardware and extra cants and bolts. Heels included as well. Used 3 seasons. In the picture, what looks like severe galling of the metal center disk is just the black paint flaking off where the mounting screws were. $75 Shipped
  9. Pair of Deeluxe Sazukas size m29 with Bomber BTS and blue springs for sale. Boots are in good cond. They have a few scuffs from normal wear, all buckles are intact and operate fine. The BTS makes these ride real comfy. Used 3 seasons. Boots Pictured with F.A.S.T Heels, but will ship with original (not used) heels as well as a new set of heels I recently purchased (not used either). $250 shipped J

    Tanker 192 $300

Jon, I need your shipping address. J
  11. Edges are sharp, sidecut I'll defer to that previously mentioned. It's not printed on it. There were specs I found online somewhere. As for the weight issue, the board didn't seem overly stiff. It was my first carving board and i definitely didn't do it justice. It is super fast and when you do lock in it stays there. It's nimble enough to keep up with softbooters without outrunning them ( as I found with a big Tanker 192 on occasion.) I only rode it about 7 times before getting the Tanker and pretty much stuck to that so if anyone has any other answers to your questions please jump in. Sorry for the delay, Bomber wasn't working for me the last two days. J

    Tanker 192 $300

For sale Tanker 192 I think from the '04-'05 season. Ridden about 10 times. This board is awesome, I just want something a little smaller. There's a few shallow scrapes near the tail, some lift line nicks on the sidewalls on top, and the middle "teardrop" is slightly bent from stepping on. Base is Red with black "wings" . Asking $300. Bindings (SnowPro Race LTD F.A.S.T.) in picture may not be included as they are in another sale I have posted (Deeluxe Sazuka with BTS post). I will consider selling board and bindings, or all three if there's interest. J
  13. For sale Volkl Renntiger 168. Board is older not sure of year maybe 6 or 7 yrs old. Bought from fellow BOL'er. Board has good structure, no major scrape or gouges. Fun board to ride fast and agile but my riding is going in a different direction now. I need to thin the herd to free up some moolah for a new stick. More pics upon request possible. Will ship with Hertel's Hot Sauce wax unscraped for shipping or scraped for local pickup. Prefer local pickup. J
  14. Thanks Bob, Any idea of it compared to a MFR J
  15. "You're my boy Blue!" I'll consider those forgot to add, I'm 6'3" 205 and want a 170 size for the edge length 131cm+ J
  16. I'm having a hard time getting set on what my new softie setup (boardwise) will be this year. I've got a 168 Renntiger and a Tanker 192 for hardbooting....but I do a lot of my riding with friends who like to explore and the RT is not that great off groom and the Tanker is too big to have fun through trees. I ride in Tahoe, variety of spots and the board I'm looking for will do everything, natural jumps, a run or two through the park, switch riding, powder and tree runs and of course it will carve if on the groom. I am trying to decide between a Demo Prior 172 MFR, an 07-08 Tanker 187, an 08-09 Tanker 177, or a Donek Sasquatch. I just got some Malamutes size 12 that are 1/2"-3/4" shorter sole than my previous Dialogues. I need at least 26 width and I'd like a scr of 9+. I want some setback and taper to make it through pow better. I really want a wide 170ish size and don't have a lot of cash to do it. The Tankers have the taper and weight I like but an 08-09 177 I saw I'm not crazy about the graphics. The MFR is the right size, best price but is stiff and doesn't have quite the taper I'd like. I don't mind stiff but with less taper I'm afraid the pow performance will burn my back leg out. The Sasquatch seems to have widths either on my small end or more than I really need, price ok , and not the amount of taper I'd like, but I'm not sure how much extra for a 27cm Sasquatch 170...I need to send an email I guess. Someone here has ridden one or all of these I'm sure. Any insight to confirm or debunk my skepticisims? thanks J
  17. ...and then you pushed him off the lift to prevent further degrading the local gene pool right? J edit: I do not condone violence or murder but sometimes you need more effective means than a swift kick in the ars.
  18. FAST has a spring loaded plug that pops out once boot is disengaged from pins and sits flush with the side of the heel. It's supposed to keep snow out. It works 89% of the time. When I have to hoof it in deep snow or if the snow is wet it can clog and give you a partial lock. It will click but halfway hold. Easy way to check ( I check before I make my first turn on every run) rock boot laterally. If it pulls out, you got clog. Fast will also do this if not properly adjusted...usually from being adjusted too tight. Good thing though is both holes usually don't clog simultaneously so there is still some bit of control to get to safe place to adjust or unclog without catastrophy. Have had FAST for 2.5 seasons with no issues other than wet or deep snow...I dig em. I must not ride as hard as Dave:cool: J
