1. Just want to get these out of my basement.. For sale are my Burton Reactor hardboots Size M26.0. Used 5 seasons. Original owner. Ride/relax mechanism, power strap. Shells and liners are in good shape. Everything functions great except one buckle on each boot. One of the small hinge rivots on the 2nd buckle (down from the top) has popped off (see photo). Either it needs to be rivoted or a new buckle needs to be rivoted to the shell. $35 shipped...I figure that will cover my shipping costs ( Continental US 48 state) Paypal "gift" me.
 2. Bump...yellow board is sold...price reduction on blue board and binding
 3. Bricky, I have on the classified a 289mm boot sole length Mondopoint M26.0 AF600 for sale...with booster strap and new toe/heel pieces
 4. Race Plate step-in's SOLD. Toe closure Race Plate is still for sale $125+ship.
 5. ok, thanks for the response..sounds like 26.0 with a Thorlo sock ( thicker sock) may work?
 6. Kalalex, If you are still interested I got a shipping quote from USPS. Send me a private email if you want to discuss. Thx.
 7. Bump.....I should add that both boards (by themselves) are for sale each for 200+ship...ie. The bindings can be separated from the yellow board if you just want the board. I can bring the bindings to SES too to avoid ship/paypal fees.
 8.

[h=1]Hi, Fin is the owner of Bomber and this website. If you go to the bomberonline.com home page you'll find Parts/Deeluxe boot parts/all 'track' series parts/[/h]The part is called the AF Rivot. Here is a paste of the part on bomberonline.com

[h=1]AF Rivet[/h]

Part Number SB3003-1

Your Price: $7.00

Any boot outfitter can install this part with their rivot gun. However, there is another option. A number of members on the forum have created this part from scratch, just like shown on the boots above (i.e. the SureFoot bootoutfitters fix I had them install) http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?12344-Help!-Need-boot-part!&highlight=rivot If the link doesnt work go to the bomber forum "carving community" and type in "af rivot" in the search field..it should show up with the "Help! Need boot part..." link above. The fix that SureFoot put into the boot is just as good as the fixes from the "community".
 9. Boots are sold. Price drop! $140 shipped (Paypal "gift") to 48 State US Deeluxe AF600 Mondopoint 26.0 boots for sale. Comes with Thermoflex liners I moulded once. Also comes with the add-on Booster Strap accessory. Heel pieces on both boots are brand new. Toe's have 1 days use. Right foot has t-nuts already if you want to add Fin-tec heels in the future. Boots have normal scrapes on the outside. Buckles/ratchet straps (everything) functional with one repair added. The right boot outer hinge pivot had the rivot head pop off when I was in Aspen. I had SureFoot boot outfitters (base of Aspen mtn) put in a new T-bolt/washer and rode a couple more days with no problems. Needed stiffer boots so I bought AF700's. Bomber sells the correct replacement part for $7.. $140 shipped in Continental US "Gift" me paypal . PM me for shipping quotes.
 10. (bindings are still for sale). Blue board is SOLD. Yellow board is SOLD. I will sell the bindings alone for $95+free shipping (Continental 48 state US only). PM me for details (paypal, money order)..."gift" me the amt on paypal. Bindings are Bomber TD1 step-in. I originally bought std (manual toe closure) and then upgraded to the step-in components. 0 degree front cant, 6 deg rear cant. Yellow (soft) bumpers. Bought 12/2001.The baseplates\cants\yellow bumpers have ~125 days on snow and the spring loaded toe pieces have maybe 50 days on snow. Front aluminum heel receiver looks great, rear aluminum receiver is not new but has life left in it. It is not original. Think it's the 3rd I've had on the binding. The orange disks under the bindings are from Sean Martin of Donek. It helps distribute the load from the binding to the deck.
 11. Bump and price reduction! For sale is my '98 purchased Burton race plate. Leash included as shown in the photos. Comes with 3-hole and 4X4 disks and 8 screws+washers. They were used in the '98 thru 2001 season and have been in a box in my closet since then. They are in excellent shape. A little paint missing on the bails but no other problems. I weigh 145lbs. I get about 25 days on snow a year. Asking $95 w/free shipping for US continental 48 state. PM me for details if you are AK, Hawaii, or Canada. Paypal "gift" me $95.
 12. As noted on most of the threads, everyone's foot is different and even a thermofit liner cant solve all problems. I have a different take on the AF600 and Track 700's though since the thermofit liners fit my feet very well. I'm 145lbs and 5' 11". I push my boards as hard as I can. The AF600's worked good for me with the stock/rigid locking mechanism on the back. The drawbacks to the boot were two fold. 1) if it was 40+ deg F outside the boot was a bit too soft 2) the sole of the boot could "slightly taco" if driven super hard while carving...I'd get foot pain on the first couple of runs and also when the boot was soft I could really flex the lower shell even with step in bindings and no extra play. Solution: Track 700's and BTS. The 700's have higher rigidity in the lower plastic section and I have no problems with them at all. I initially rode them with the stock mechanism on the back and I could not bend the boot properly at all. But with BTS I can get the correct flex and it's consistent in all temperatures. Everyone is different but for me I need a super rigid lower boot, the correct flex for my weight and style, and I can get the boot to fit my foot with thermoflex.
 13. I had the same issue as CTS-V above. I've had 4 dislocations to one shoulder and 3 to the other. The first was a backward twisting fall in '89 skateboarding on a half-pipe...I dislocated it a few more times and had the Bristo surgery which is far more invasive than today's Bankart surgery. In '99 I dislocated my left shoulder (I ride regular foot) on the run Slot at Snowmass on my second run down Slot that day. It's all on video as Cliff Ahumada (first "Expression Session" Aspen organizer before Fin) was filming below me.....4 dislocations of that shoulder later (all from heel side slide outs with an outstretched arm) resulted in me shortening my mtn. bike racing season in '11 to have the shoulder fixed. Was riding offroad 8 weeks later. I've had no issues on the snow with either shoulder since having them fixed. The bankart surgery is three small (3mm) incisions and clear plastic organic dissolvable screws which entwine Kevlar "wire" to gather up all the parts of the joint that have been damaged. The resultant scar tissue when healed brings the shoulder back to where it was when you were born. The risk of arthritis with the Bankart is very low and mobility is full. I should mention that I used an "armadillo" neoprene brace from '06 - '10 but dislocated the shoulder with it on in '10..braces dont work.
 14. Hey Felicia, Great to see you back on the board. We're coming up on the 19th to Green Bay to do some carving in Wausau at Granite Peak...may be riding on the 20th -22nd or so. Trying to get a hold of Alex at G-Force to get that shot of Trent, Al, and Me that is on this post....great shot that Alex took.
 15. I have a set of AF600 that after a few years I found that I was extracting one of the rear boot screws...Even though the screws were tight it was pulling the stock insert thru the shell... So I drilled out the hole slightly to allow the barrell of the T-nut to go thru and hammered it in...works great....there's no way that I'll pull the T-nut thru the boot base....I put two t-nuts in the rear boot in the rear two screws (toward the heel) Hold onto your T-nuts!
 16. Those will work...I use the AF600 boot in a 26 mondo...see pictures above with me and my 2yr old.....I straighten out the foward lean to setting #4 too......you definately want the longest they make though ...100 cm ++..more stability at higher speeds and better glide at lower..I paid $80 on ebay
 17. To make sure the trailing leg doesnt noodle just push equally down on both edges..basically a rail turn....you'll have two parallel trenches in the snow....I find a 100cm snowblade is completely stable even when haulin' it on groomed blacks.....deep power is another thing....I stuffed it in three times at Buttermilk in the pow....they dont float.
 18. Been riding plates for 20 years. When my kids started skiing recently I didnt want to lug ski boots/skis to the hill...so I bought the longest set of ski blades they make 100cm....works great with hard boots. Plus you can more easily ski with your kids and help them on the chairlift and the lift line...plus it's easier to skate around...etc....similar to a 5 wheel race rollerblade if you've done any of that.... Here is a picture, at Aspen two weeks ago for the SES on the Thursday powder day at Snowmass on my ski blades with my just 2yr old
 19. I may possibly be able to attend one if it is in March...usually visit my folks in Green Bay in March to get one last day in WI
 20. Bill, We're coming up to GreenBay on Wed and are going to hit Granite Peak on Thursday, Friday, and Sat (Dec 27-29). I'm getting online tickets today. Will have my 2 and 4 year old kids as well as my Mom and Wife for Thurs and Friday. Will be spending some time with my kids on Thurs and Friday on the hill (both are skiing....yes, the 2 year old skis...just turned 2 last week..amazing). I may be going by myself on Friday so I'll be carving that whole day. Forest Green north Face coat and black pants...Donek boards. Hope to see you there. Are you going to Aspen this year? I ride 99% of the time the runs around the 6 passenger lift..Merry Christmas! Mike
 21. Hey Bill, Thanks for the post. Glad to see there is other interest at Granite Peak. I met a couple there last year (and he was a carver). Very few carvers there. We'll be there one or two days somewhere between Dec 27th and 29th. I'll send more info just before Christmas. You going to be at the session this year in Aspen?...were you there last year or other years?
 22. We'll I'm originally from Green Bay and my opinion is Granite Peak is much better than Cascade. Cascade's runs are narrow unlike Granite Peak's. Granite Peak also has a detachable high speed 6-chair lift. Cascade is either flat or steep and narrow. Granite Peak's snow is usually very good. There are a ton of ski racers at Cascade and I'm sure they like the tight fallline turns. I used to ride at Devils Head when I was in school in Madison. The runs arent very steep but are fun. I'd definately choose Granite Peak for that part of the midwest...then maybe Marquette Mtn in the very upper penninsula as there snow and terrain is top notch but it is 3+ hrs north of Green Bay.
 23. Yes, there is SnowShoe West Virginia which is about 5 hrs from Cincinnati. This has 1500 ft of vertical and is in the Appalacian Mtns which are at about 4500 ft. Has alot of runs. Other than that I recommend Granite Peak in Wausau Wisconsin ...much smaller than Snowshoe but it is where I frequent closer to where I grew up. I will be in Aspen for the SES this year again. Been going since '99.
