peter_x
I get the feeling I need more than 6° of cant. That's what I'm using for both feet on the TD2s. Does anyone think Fin should make bigger disks?

peter_x
I didn't say this but couldn't you just make a shim for your toe/heel block? Then my boot wouldn't sit level on the blocks. Did Mike T delete his message? My email notification shows a reply from him...
Shred Gruumer
Ohhh big time.. several of us need a 9 degree lift for the rear foot.. Yeah, my post didn't come out right and decided to delete it and redo... let's try it again: 1) You may be able to get a similar effect by adjusting your boots. If you use Raichle / Deeluxe w/ 5-pos fwd lean and have flexible ankles, you can decrease the lean (gigher number) on your front foot and increase (lower number) on your back foot. 2) Another option is to narrow your stance which may make your current cants more comfy 3) Careful with extreme cant and lift - I find that lots of cant/lift reduces mobility. I've gone from 3/6 to 0/3 and after getting used to it find I have a lot more mobility on the board and am riding a lot better. My heelsides have gone from being my weak side to my strong side due to the increased mobility. My toesides are the same as ever, except I can get in and out of them easier now. trikerdad
it's pretty easy to do. A piece of 1/4 inch aluminum with a little taper ground into it and a couple of longer screws gives you an additional 2 degrees. I don't know that the taper is even necessary but it's a easy enough to do.
