It is in great shape, has been rode ~ 20 times last year and 4 this year which in Wisconsin is less than 20,000 feet total. Top sheet has a few nicks and scratches, but is still an eye catcher, bottom is sweet. It has had two tunes total, plenty of life left in this fine board for many years of carving / racing pleasure. Asking $150, will consider any reasonable offers, shipping paid by buyer. I can take some photos if requested. Must sell, just ordered a new 'Pow Stick' Life's short, ride long! I would tend to say the the Renn Tiger GS's are not quite entry level, as the are fairly rigid and somewhat unforgiving for a novice, that's where the spped and stability come from. I was able to make peace with it fairly quickly, but I had a few years under my belt. There is a Renn model that was made that year that is a little softer, same basic dimensions, but I don't recall the suffix code. Also at 185 lbs, when you feel ready for a GS race board, you might want to go a little longer 172 or ??? I am 175 lbs, and am now on a 186 WCR, and I like it alot, well after the curve, that is. I was thinking that buying your board in a slightly shorter length than suggested for an advanced rider (168 vs. 172 or longer) which might allow me some slack i.e. it might be a little short for me at a higher skill level, but would allow me to upgrade from my current 1996 Burton AMP 6.0 160cm), to more current technology at a reasonable price. If board technology has changed like ski technology over the last 10 years, then the RT should help make moving up the learning curve a little easier. Algunderfoot Posted March 21, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 Hey Bob, While I am not familiar with the Burton Amp, your growth plan sounds the same as mine was, going from a 162 Alp, to a 166 Coil (all mountain) to the RT168. It is a plan that has paid off in spades for me this year going to the 186 WCR. Arrival is a wonderful thing. I will place you as second in line, if party #1 does not buy this board.
