FORECAST-

TODAY-FRIDAY--

There will be off and on periods of light snow right through Friday afternoon ---already, 2" has fallen and though the light snow will taper off shortly, a strong front may bring another 1-3" over the next 24 hours.

Total 2 day snowfall should be in the 3-5" range by tomorrow p.m.

WEEKEND---

A partly sunny day Saturday and seasonable with highs in the teens and 20's way to some light snow by the afternoon or evening.

I look for another 2-4" by later Saturday evening and temperatures falling back into the teens on Sunday, and single numbers on top with stronger

northwesterly winds. There is a 40% of up to 6" of snowfall this weekend.

Temperatures will be cold Sunday so bundle up and there will be some decent snow on the ground!

NEXT WEEK---

A huge storm, typical of March, will park itself over Labrador and New Brunswick most of the week. This will pump colder than normal, windier weather through Tuesday with occasional snow squalls and another trace-2" of accumulation by Tuesday. Temperatures in the teens early in the week warm to the 20's mid week. Temperatures will oscillate back and forth between normal and 5 to 10 degrees below normal through March 6th with off an on periods of snow and at least a few inches of accumulation.
