snow|3oarder
I have TD2s, and I moved my toe bails back, and my heel bails back to get less toe overhang. I suspect that the middle of my boot is behind the middle of the baseplate. Is this ok? How would i find the middle or COG of my boot? D-Sub
you probably want the boot centered on the center of the board. sometimes this requires a little of what is called "bias" (rear foot a bit toward heel edge, front foot a bit toward toe edge, or rather bindings appearing that way...) this has confused the hell out of me for a long time, especially the times when I fiddle with my bindings with a not so clear head. jimcheen
Usually the middle of the the boot is marked with a line molded into the plastic on the side of the sole. I hope this helps. JC
NateW
I don't look at the middle of the boot at all, I just look at where the outermost part of the boot is (toe / heel / RAB / whatever) and where it is relative to the edge of the board. Same here. On a SL or other tight-sidecut board that approach means your front boot is placed slightly more toeside than your back boot, but I've never noticed any problems.
