Gremlin
The recently resurrected thread reminded me I was going to do this, now that I'll actually get on snow this year. Can somebody post a picture of the attachment point of a bumper? Not sure what the best way to go about securing them is and want to see how it's been done before. Gremlin
Or at least let me know if there's a molded insert in there?
pokkis
I'm using skateboard bushings as bumpers and use M6 lock nuts upside down, they keep bushings on place quite tightly. BTW these are just best due they are bout 10mm height, like APEX ones Edited January 13 by pokkis
Gremlin
Thanks pokkis. Now I just hope virus will sell me a set of insert extenders and I don't need to make them.
pokkis
I once cut just 10mm Alu blocks and drilled hole to go to insert in board and another threaded one to install plate. Block was about 10x20x 60 if i recall right, needed 4 of them.
