Fintec or Intec Heels?

Keep in mind that Intecs don't have replaceable pad. On the plus side they are lighter. I feel they also have better grip on the surface (when walking, obviously). The drawback is they are less durable. It's easier to wear through the plastic case and once you do it the mechanism will get stuck if filled with snow. Don't let it happen. Heel should be replaced before that.

Overall it's hard to say which will come cheaper in the end. With intecs you'll have to replace the whole hill when the sole wears through. However intec heel lasts longer than fintec replaceable pad. I suspect the answer depends on your use pattern.
