fluxgame
Was messing around with my stance yesterday evening (because what else do you do when you just registered for MCC and there's no snow yet?) and noticed that the cant disk on my rear binding has a bit of play in it. The center disk is tight to the board, but the cant disk isn't. Do the e-rings eventually compress and need to be replaced? crackaddict
Are you maybe using the TD3 center disks with the TD2 elastomers? Send photos. There shouldn't be any play.
fluxgame
Nope, definitely a completely TD2 setup. There wasn't any play when I last checked them (last season). And the front is solid. Here's a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15SsKudRl_fAyU3LTpuo62MkWIY7JntWE/view?usp=sharing
ibrussell
With binding off board is there any play between the teeth of the cant and the disk as on might be worn or warped.

Yes, there's a bit of play between the two. But I assume the tolerances on these parts isn't that tight and relies on the compression of the rubber e-ring for holding everything in place? The front one has the same amount of play and doesn't budge once it's all snugged up.
ibrussell
Mine are tight, try switching e-rings to see if it tightens then maybe disks.

Good thought. Swapped the e-ring, no change. Swapped the cant disks and that seems to be it. Must be slightly warped. Thanks for helping to diagnose!
