Boot Size Advice Please

 My foot measures 27.5

I've been using an AF600 for years in a size 26 with TF and it's a great fit.  I find the AF700 a bit too stiff for my liking so not interested in that.  

I'm considering moving to SB series with the 325 which I know is a bit more narrow in forefoot.

Question 1:  Can I get away with a size 26 in SB series or do I need to go to 27 due to the narrower width?

Question 2:  If I got a 27 I'd only be downsizing 1/2 size.  Will that be enough downsize or will boot be too long?

27 and 27.5 are the same shell. 

Is your forefoot wide? If yes, you won't Ike the SB shape.

My 2 cents: If you have a great fit in a given shell shape, praise the lord and stick with that shell shape.

I wouldn't switch boot shapes if you are happy with the fit of your current boots.  If you're not already using BTS, I suggest trying them to soften the flex of the boot.  If you are, then swapping springs can help a lot.

My foot measures 27.5 as well.

I tried 28's for the last two seasons and while they seem to feel OK at first by the end of the day my foot was swimming in the liner.

I bought 27s for this year and while they are definitely tighter they do not hurt.   FWIW I bought Track 700s since they have a bit more room up front and seem to fit my feet better.  The 325s were too tight for me.
