Slim
I've seen a few pairs of these listed on BOL and EBay. I've never heard of them before. Anyone know anything about them?
big canuck
I bought a set that ended up being too big. (bought a 30.5, should have got the 29.5's) Never tried them on the snow. The 29.5 should fit a size 12 well. I found them narrower than the Head Stratus pros I got. Alloy buckles, pretty nice, adjustable foward lean and cant. Walk mode. Big powerstrap. Overall a pretty nice boot. I really like my Stratus pros and would rate them a 9. I'd give the Oxygens a 7.5. I have big calve and the Heads fit me better there for sure. My 2 cents. Fleaman
it looks like they have FAST heels built in, good ro snowpro bindings.
big canuck
'scuse my ignorance. Does that make them intec compatable? Thx KC
Fleaman
No, the FAST system is the opposite of the INTEC system Fast system has retractable male nubs on the binding which fit into the boot's female hole. Intec has retractable nubs on the boot which fit into the binding's holes. Snowpro had FAST bindings and several other binding makers use INTEC I am not sure of the advantages of either system. UPS boots come with replaceable FAST heels, but the ones in the pic don't look like they are replaceable or INTEC compatible.
big canuck
Thanks for the 411. Over and out. KC
Guest Randy S.
They are NOT Intec compatible. They are an older boot. The guys from Pureboarding use them and like them. If they are cheap, I suppose they are worth a try. Note that they are at least 5-6 years old (even if they are brand new).
