We recently has a customer that was refused when she tried to check in a 9’2 board on Delta from Honolulu to France. This was possible before for $150. Had to have the old lady drive back to the airport and get the log. That was several years ago, and just wondering if something has changed. Brian In my experience, this has more to do with the individual you are dealing with at the counter than the airline's overall policy. It's a crapshoot. Good luck!
