andiss
Any recommendations on summer glaciers in Europe - Hinterux? Zermatt? Stryn? Or just save the money for a winter trip??
michael.a
No way, wait for the winter. January or from mid March are the best periods.

kieran
saving monies it is - and surfing until then i have snowboarded (awesomely) and surfed (poorly) on the same day. the joys of scotland. ;)
nils
for the same money: go to argentina or chile at least you'll get snow and long runs... Glaciers are for the starving, competitors, or new model / proto testing...I find it depressing and the snow sucks....sweet hour last 20 mins from Ice to melted soup... Save the money for a italy/french/swiss/austrian trip next winter! N

Only like 4 hours from Nevis Range? If you want to get world class surf and skiing on the same day i'd say Lofoten Unstad is the bay way to go! You will have to hike http://www.freeride.se/unstad-dont-panic/
