Guest dzz
heya guys, I am still riding am old AMP 6 i bought back in I dont know when... Are the technology advancements in the newer boards really noticable compared to the amps generation? Guess I need to hunt down a demo day somewhere and check out as many as I can... btw anyone around the northern VT area? If anyones heading this way feel free to msg I never get a chance to ride with other hardbooters :-\
carvedog
The newer technology boards and flex patterns should give you a more enjoyable ride. I never did care for the amp but the Mistral 167 asym was one of my faves from that era. Get to a demo and carve on. Jerry
bobdea
even if you were to hop on a Alp from a few years after the the amp was made you would notice a huge difference
eastcoasticerider
Yes..The newer stuff is far better..even the Burton stuff..try those SPEED'S.they seem like a nice synthesis between a Factory Prime stiffy and the Ultraprime design....really fun freecarver.....I think there were some on ebay ,quite a few blemish boards went through this fall, some great deals and some with the bindings thrown in....:D
