Mr.E
Any feedback on Hoodoo? I have friends that like the BC access, but I haven't had any reliable reports on the groomers (trail size/ width and grooming). Trying to change my drive/ slope time ratio a bit this year. Thanks! Keenan
Not a lot of wide groomers but I've heard that the grooming quality is consistently good. Can't say the same for Bachelor. On new snow days Hoodoo is a blast and has some really fun steeper terrain.
OhD
Good steeps, great collection of snowboards mounted on the lodge walls, friendly race director (Jason Deney - give him my regards) who lets visiting carvers run their NASTAR course even on club racing nights. Great views of Mt. Washington and 3-Fingered Jack. Not as big, cosmopolitan and varied as Bachelor but a good value, a pleasant low-key vibe, and certainly worth a few visits. Mr.E
Thanks, folks. I picked up a punch pass and will be up at least a few times this season- looking forward to it!
slopetool
I agree with OhD. Its a fun place. I live in Montana now but am an Oregonian. I have been to Hoodoo and always have a great time. I love those smaller ski areas with lots of charm. You will have a blast.
