Hilux
Was just following the Carving Masters thread and came across the link for 19.94 and was surfing around and saw this! http://www.snowboardbinding.it/?page_id=147 Did anyone know about this yet?! I know Arnaud was experimenting with his ACSS on the UPZ RC10's but this is the first I've seen of a seemingly complete system. Curious about price and effectiveness compared to the stock spring mech. I find the stock one sufficient but perhaps this is night and day difference. Only thing is, is that it appears some drilling is required for the t-nut. Wonder if this could be converted back to stock. Either way, this is progress! Puddy Tat
My only concern would be how easy it would be to get the boot on without being able to put it in walk mode anymore? Dave

Aracan
This looks rather like the Rabanser RBT (see here), which has been around for some years. I believe there is also some connection between Rabanser and 19.94 bindings. I have heard very little about the RBT. One guy remarked that stiffness and stroke of the springs was very similar to the stock system, only without the locking mechanism ... jacopodotti
Georg Rabanser works togheter with 19.94 as well one of the young guys in his team is the son of the owner of 19.94 He has collaborated with North Wave for the spring system on the .900 and .950 so this system is quite similar but it is made of stainless steel. The system costs nearly 80 euro.
