All the official videos (2002 onwards) are now available in HD. My version 12.0 of Firefox allows me to download a range of resolution file versions directly from YouTube. I knew that would be the case w/o even trying to play it (I did still try, of course). The IOC, or the network w/rights to coverage is amazing at cleaning the web of anything that gets put up. Not just Youtube. Try finding an episode of Little Bill for your kid online - much the same. Mattj, thanks again for the deal on the 4-pak. Most helpful for all involved. SunSurfer Posted May 11, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2012 Been looking around for ways to potentially make at least the 4 Vancouver vids available to people on Bomber as .mp4s. The biggest problem is the file size, each is over 1.7GB. The qualifying runs are in 1080, the finals in 720 HD. I tried up loading just the Men's finals to Rapidshare, but with my ADSL connection the upload time was going to be over 40 hours! Are BOLers in the UK able to access the YouTube vids? If so the proxy server route may be the best bet. Any other ideas? I don't want to go down the path of burning/posting DVDs all over the place. I, have a Cunning Plan! though it will require a modicum of .. cunning. updates to follow.aside from the Cunning Plan, in the UK i cannot view them embedded on here, but can view them directly on youtube.
