newcarverontheblock
How much for just the bindings?
Art
How about 55$ shipped? Not sure what they are worth
newcarverontheblock
I'm trying to outfit the exact same board as this one...Throttle 171. So I guess those bindings would fit! Could you tell me however if these bindings would do for a beginner? I've never carved, but i'M 6'1'' 240lbs. Would like to get your input...once I know these would be good for me, we can set a price. But I think they are very tempting...
Art
Not sure what to say, but these are pretty stiff, and should work fine. they dont have any canting and mount flat on the board, but I have a burton cant plate I will throw in for another ten bucks, but I dont have the screws for it. I will say, the board is pretty stiff, but at 240, I dont think you will have a problem getting it to turn, just dont weight the front of the board too much. I will do 50$ shipped, 40 for the bindings and 10 for priority shipping. Paypal accepted and preferred.
BroB
what is the weight range on this?
Art
Ok, let me answer a few questions I have been getting. I am not sure what the weight range is. That is a subjective question. This is not a coiler or Donek, built to a specific weight.. i weigh 180 on a good day and carve aggressively. I found that Rossi boards, and the WOOD CORE 171 in particular to be a very lively and active ride, but you had to stay on top of the board, and the board turns better at speed. I do not know the SCR. I would guess around 15m. Would I recommend this for a beginner? Probably not, because there are way easier boards to learn on. However, I rode these as a beginner on crappier boots and bindings, and never had the chance to ride the board to it's potential. I bought this board from a Rossi proform. I am the only person to ride it. It has been sitting in a very nice padded sleeve for about ten years. It has lots of camber. It has lots of edge remaining. There are no major dings and all of the inserts work. No I will not take 90$ or 120$. The sleeve is included. I still have the bindinigs. Yes you can make an offer. Yes I may say no. or yes. But 90 shipped. not worth my time.
Gary Wolf
I would go 150 for the package if still available.
