Here in Europe, the comments are mostly very moderate. If you get any comment at all. Most of the comments come from old dudes operating ski lifts, ski school teachers, or older snowboarders. Guys that know quality when they see it. ;)

The worst comments come from young apes thinking they rock with their flappy rental thingies, because they make one out of ten 180's work. Sometimes they get a bit loud, but you mostly get them quiet with something like : "You know what you're doing? You're driving a rusty rental Subaru 4x4, and you step up to a guy driving a Ferrari Enzo, laughing at him because he can't go offroad with his gear. Anyhow : you're pathetic."

Most of the (good) comments come when you've just finished some hardpack digging huge trenches.

Laughter and insane giggling from D.T. and myself after a tele skier hit one of my " tanker trap trenches" and biffed underneath us. Of course I apologized to said skier for leaving such a berm, to which we proceeded to giggle even more. :eplus2:

Quotes from your average run of the mill skidder crew....

Is that a snowboard?

Is that one of those old style ski boards?

How do you ride that thing?

I don't understand those mono ski things.

Are those ski boots?

Is that a downhill board?
