boardguru
Jeff I cannot believe that you have ever been stopped on the mountain. You are the most in control and courteous rider I know at Snowbasin. And as far as your riding, one day, in my dreams, I will be half as great of a rider as you. But, we all need to be aware of what is happening around us. So things have changed at SB, but we can stiil get our carve on. Mick
Fastskiguy
The kid is abviously in control, he cuts under (not over) the mountain host and from the angle of the shot seems to be a safe distance away I'm probably more sensitive than most about out of control skiers or boarders and this is the key thing...he cut under, looked in control, no problem. Should not have even been stopped.
zoltan
How could any of you understand what was said in the video? All I heard was what sounded like a snow gun up close and personal. Aside from that, I'm pretty anal about the responsibly code, and have no issue with what that boarder did. He was in control and avoided those below him. sic t 2
When you see your encounter documented in the Salt Lake Tribune you know you hit a pretty sensitive nerve out there. I'm sure every Utah ski area is reviewing their staff courtesy policies now to insure this type of thing does not happen to them. In the end, you have probably improved the Utah skiing experience "just a wee bit" for all who love that place (which certainly includes me !!). http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/53201127-78/snowbasin-patroller-resort-video.html.csp
