Wolfman
I see you guys had a good time. Next time, I guess. Too bad that June isn't happening for now. SNES would be fun again too.
SimpleManner
Hello All, I was the new carver who showed up on Sunday. Sorry to leave early (I had to leave early to go to work that evening :(); I really had fun riding with you guys. I know I have a lot to learn (and thank you guys for all your tips). Make sure you you let us know when you want to try that Renn tiger. Somebody has boots you could try if you don't have them yet( I have some very old size 10 boots), and I have some bindings I may sell. GeorgeS
Great pictures Andrea. Looks like I need to work on not "pettin the dog". It was a great day!! Well Aaron I don't see a dog in your pictures:D but I think this is coolest heelside turn.
Bullwings
I like Albert's tactical mid-air edge transition. You mean this one?? Where I do a tactical mid-air edge transition to my face and carve the snow with my chin guard???
MTB_DH11
I see that you guys are planning to do this ride day again on January 6, 2013. I would love to get on a contact list for this event. Sounds great! I did my first hardboot carving there in 1986. Have not ridden there in years and would love to go back and ride with other carvers. Please keep me posted. I am in if you will have me. Thanks, Shannon shannondecker at sbcglobal dot net
AaronG
Just stay tuned into this thread for notification. Once the season starts the SoCal ride board gets lots of activity! Hope to see you on the mtn!
MTB_DH11
Thanks, appreciate it. I will stay tuned for sure. Any of the people from this group ride Mtn. High? That is my closest resort. One hour from my front door. Would be great to meet up with anyone who carves there.
Terryw
We do have a few who ride at Mtn. High quite often. They will usually post on the ride board, so keep an eye on it as Aaron suggests. Can't wait to see every one on the hill again! I might even make this event this time. Crossing my fingers .... slopestar
I'm at Mtn High every weekend and holiday for first chair and usually split about 12:30 when the tight pants/jib fest begins. I'm traveling from Huntington Beach and would love a fellow carpooler...

MTB_DH11
Hey Slopestar, Mtn High may get 6 to 10 inches of snow this week and re-open on friday. You heading up this weekend? I am trying to get there at the first chair on Saturday if they open. I went the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but they shut down after that. RyanN
I'm game to meet up and ride with some fellow carvers. If either of you wants to drive up to the 210 and 57 I'd be happy to drive the rest of the way. Feel free to shoot me an email.
