Ernie00
Last winter a piece of my catek FR2 broke. That particular piece isn't listed on their web site. I tried contacting them but haven't heard from them in a few weeks. So what are the odds of getting a replacement part for the bindings ? I've been reading in the past years that they are terrible at customer service... I guess I'm finding out the hard way. That is just awfull service and it's not right. Maybe someone on bol has this part. thanks for the input.
Boarder_Ted
That is actually a pretty typical break for those bindings. Catek came out with an improved piece that is much beefier than that one. Let me check my stash and see if I have an old one lying around. Sorry, but it would not be the newer, heavy-duty one but rather an exact replacement for yours. You could have it for the cost of shipping....if I've got it. Ted You, my friend, are in luck. I have both a left and a right. Shoot me a PM and we'll hash out the details.

jacopodotti
Heard about family problems in Catek. Not answering the last year to anybody.
Ernie00
they are still a company. It was like that the year before and the year before that one so this has been going on for a while with no changes. I'm sure when Jeff or anyone at Catek are buying something for their personal use snowboard or any other stuff and they need service or parts they rightfully expect service if needed and all of us expect the same. I don't want free parts, I want to buy what is broken.
CaRtharsis
"insert hysterical laughter here" I feel your pain Ernie. I spent near a year trying to get a response out of them. Sold everything Catek and picked up a few sets of TD3's. Never looked back.
sic t 2
Heard about family problems in Catek. Not answering the last year to anybody. well, not answering is ok. billing for a product and not shipping it, and then not answering to anybody is definitely not ok ! I mean, it was only $31 for straps but its a first for me on the internet. To have all phone calls and emails ignored. Its been 5 months... Geez... thought we were all brothers in centripetal forces. At least disable the invoicing function until corporate functionality returns. order ID : 13123 Sic...

RideGuy
It's a total shame. Such awesome products stuck inside a dead company. They should sell it so someone who can make it work.
