Guest Ghostrider
So I'm working on a project... anybody have a alpine board around for UBER cheap?? Like a max of $50 shipped? Size doesn't matter. (no seriously...keep your mind out of the gutter...perve.) Although I guess short would be good. I've seen some of those oxygen protons on ebay but they keep going over budget. Help me if you can. I don't really need bindings...but if youve got a SUPER cheap pair, let me know...see a pattern here? SUPER SUPER SUPER CHEAP!! I'll also accept free stuff. i'll pay shipping if if you can part with something for free!! :D e-mail me if you can help me out!! ghostrider@midwestskibums.com Thanks! Dan
Just out of curiosity...what's the project? Are you going to mount trucks on it? ;-)
Guest Ghostrider
haha...you got me brainstorming! way to go! somebody is gonna get hurt now... I'll just use my old freestyle board for the original project..the alpine was just for the look. But now anybody got some old skateboard trucks? I've got an idea to make an alpine snow skate...like a longboard snow skate. That means alpine riding with no bindings. I think this is "a good idea" :D (last time i said that somebody broke an arm). So yea, still looking for cheap gear..new game plan though. Thanks Dan! :D Heres what i think i might need CHEAP alpine board CHEAP skateboard trucks CHEAP bindings fyi: if this turns out to be a total failure, i'll use the gear to introduce people to alpine riding...so its not a total waste dont worry. I wouldnt do anything to trash a board. :)
boostertwo
I've a Burton FP 157 180s (red topsheet) in good shape that you're welcome to for $60 plus shipping. It's a little over the budget you mention, but it's worth it. 9.5 M sidecut radius--this board will rip some sweet short arcs!
