Ian M Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 ^ We sure did have a good time, Stephane! It was a different hill than Stratton. I liked that there was challenging terrain - White Nitro and Gondola Line are some of the steepest groomed runs I've ever been on, and it really made the trip for me. The bottom of the mountain is fairly gentle, though... so there are a lot of black/green runs that you do. It seemed to me that the terrain variety is better at Stratton; there were many of every flavor and character. I'm looking forward to riding there again next year if ECES is there :) It all depends on conditions, too. If it were hard and fast, Sugarloaf would be a blast because of all the good green terrain.
