griff
Has anyone come across this with TD1 where your back foot on top of the toe and heel have the snow pack into ice making so you have to chip it away before getting in? bobdea
Has anyone come across this with TD1 where your back foot on top of the toe and heel have the snow pack into ice making so you have to chip it away before getting in? yup, happens with most bindings. not as bad with the td2 but the sidewinders do it as much as the td1. you can grease your boot bottoms and grease the bindings with a thin oil, Pam or wd40. both work but I suspect prolonged use will attack your boots. Pat Donnelly
also try duct tape or electricians tape over the machined cavity / bolt head area.
griff
I'll give the duct tape a try, I have tried different types of oils and lubs but that cavity keeps getting built up with ice.
