Metric T-Nuts?

Alpinbogen

Recommended Posts

I'm striking out locally on finding some M5 stainless T-nuts to mount FinTecs to my UPZs. Any suggestions on who might carry them?

That's tough. I spent some time looking for stainless metric weld nuts for the plat this summer and couldn't do it. I don't remember if I found a t-nut though. Not a common item in the US. I think the t-nuts in a deelux boot are just zinc plated. Could be wrong on that though.

some threads on the subject:

I read through the above threads. but getting more and more

Question about the 10-24 hardwares that's reference in this particular post:

I would prefer stainless steel t-nut.

is 10-24 x 5/8 the right screw to use?

Found some SS t nut 10-24 x 9/32(is that the barrel height?)

Is that deep enough?

I will be using standard binding.

Thanks
