Alpinbogen
I'm striking out locally on finding some M5 stainless T-nuts to mount FinTecs to my UPZs. Any suggestions on who might carry them?

Donek
I'm striking out locally on finding some M5 stainless T-nuts to mount FinTecs to my UPZs. Any suggestions on who might carry them? That's tough. I spent some time looking for stainless metric weld nuts for the plat this summer and couldn't do it. I don't remember if I found a t-nut though. Not a common item in the US. I think the t-nuts in a deelux boot are just zinc plated. Could be wrong on that though.
Beckmann AG
Not stainless, but plated. Should do the trick if you remove the bolts periodically, clean, and lubricate. http://www.boltdepot.com/product.aspx?cc=15&cs=264&cm=7 Did not look into cost per or minimums. Found some SS t nut 10-24 x 9/32(is that the barrel height?) Is that deep enough? http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=1746&nobot_crawl I will be using standard binding. CaRtharsis
I think I picked up a handfull of them at Home Depot if memory serves. They were in the rotating bins in the hardware aisle with the its and bits for knock down (IKEA) furniture and such. I could be wrong. It did happen once before. Wasn't my fault though. Just sayin.
