Say, if you are boarding on slopes and it is 60 F air temps vs 20 F air temps -- the blue ring could change very little or could change a bunch. fin Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 Ladia, Here are the durometers for the TD3 E-Rings: Yellow - 49A Blue - 69A Red - 86A Yes, these numbers will vary relative to temperature but not by much. These are made of some highly engineered material used quite a bit in the sporting goods industry. They keep their elasticity and are very tough as far as ripping. To date have not had one fail yet.
