bschurman
I thought I would show off my latest creation. After seeing all the racks in a previous post I thought I would try to build something. I was a little concerned about camber so I thought that storing them veritically instead of horizontally would help. I threw it together pretty quickly so I am going to be making some changes and adding some further pegs to increase the storage. I also think that I am going to carpet the bottom piece so it lessens the chance that anything slides and falls over. They are in my basement and moisture is a concern as well so I have a dehumidifier next to the boards and I also have a hygrometer right on the same wall as the boards. I have been measuring the moisture down there for about a year now (before the boards were put there) and the humidity never gets above 65% in the humid summer and it's usually around 35%-40% most of the time. The temperature also stays between 60 and 75 all year round. Here is a quick link: http://www.bogeydog.net/pics/album08/DSC_0014 Let me know what you think. Thanks, ->Ben
Mike T
Nice and simple! BTW I have been mounting moards horizontally for four years, and the camber on my boards has nbot been affacted in any way that I can notice. (I measure a couple of boards after the first year, and no change since then)

Tommy D
Nice rack! Right now my gear is suspended between rafters in my garage, but that looks like a nice alternative. Time to measure wall space.
