Loc
After reading Neil's trip report and the weather forecast I'm likely going up this weekend to make sure the 1+ ft of freshies is put to good use. Maybe the Prior ATV might get first dibs on this season after all Anyone else? I'm driving up after Thanksgiving dinner for a full riding day on Black Friday and a few hours Saturday morning. Will anyone be there too?
nekdut
Sorry Loc, I won't be able to get up there again until the 4th, but I plan to be on the slopes Fri-Sun that weekend. Have a good time these next two weeks and let us know how its shaping up! It looks like Stump should open up in the next week if not sooner. Wolfman
Might be there for T-day. Kinda depends on last minute conditions. I look forward to my first carves this season, wife has new crazy skis so she is hyped. I expect hard pack conditions, so 1.5 days will probably do the trick. Cornice might be good all the way to Main, always a fun leg burner run at full speed. Keep posting:biggthump

Loc
Conditions were great until later in the day when it got super icy, bleh. It started snowing at 4pm today and was off and on throughout the evening.
Loc
Saturdaymorning update. Looks like Main Lodge received 12" last night with more on top. This is what happens when you don't expect it to snow at all lol. Ugh, time to put on chains and go home. I'm sure Andrea and Julian will enjoy riding today very much :)
Arclite
12" in the morning, looks like 20" right now. We stopped early today, visibility was terrible and we didn't have the right boards for powder. We kept sinking and submarining under the 12" of fresh snow. Supposed to stop snowing by 10 tomorrow morning, which means they'll groom it tomorrow morning, which means awesome carving tomorrow. sorry you can't stay loc. carvingchef
this is what we found at 7.00 in the morning, i knew it was my car because of the license plate, if they groom it tonight or tomorrow morning it should make for some very nice carving
