Tick
Ok for those hardbooters looking at this, I have NOT given up on hardbooting - just like to have a softie setup sometimes. Anyway, I see that the highback on my bindings has an adjustable lateral (side-to-side) lean. I am not sure which direction that I should move the highback, towards the front of the board or the rear. In an ideal world, which way should my leg be leaning, forward or back, when making a heelside turn?
bobdea
huh? align them with the edge. depends on the angles you ride. those you can tilt to make accomodations to screwy legs and megawide stances. most highbacks you can rotate, that's more important IMO
JJFluff
Yeah, you should align your highbacks with your heel edge. You need to be able to push and pull your board through and into turns. And this concludes my first post of the 09-10 season.
jojogreen
The high back is designed to help you on heelside turns. So when you put your feet into your bindings, they should be level with the edge.
