bobdea Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 I just finished a batch, made from 95% lard 5% olive oil scented with peppermint and lavender very lightly. this is a ongoing project I'm doing developing some products with the goal being that they are premium products made mostly with local materials from local farms. might do a felted soap soon. this was a hot process soap, easy as can be took about 3 hours and should take overnight for the bars to harden, I made one test bar that was ready for use in after 15 minutes in the freezer. anyone got some recipes that are primarily lard?
