bobdea Posted February 16, 2009 Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 the set screw on the lever helps you get out for one if you remove it you might find that youe binding is a touch sloppy because the lever has passed the point where it pushes your boot back the most. you also might find it next to impossible to get out of your bindings. have it screwed in too much and you will eject from the binding from snow contact, gates and sometimes even a hard heelside turn. the toe box on every boot is different, this is why it's there, if they were all the same bindings could be made without them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
