I've found that Febreeze works pretty well. I spray that on my helmet as well. Apparently Febreeze is just alcohol and water. You can make your own (so I'm told) with 1 part Vodka to 8 parts water. I wouldn't try drinking Febreeze though. Boot Juice seems to be the same stuff they use a bowling alleys to spray in your rental shoes. So what he does now is after a good day of riding, he'll actually lick the inside of his liners. Sounds funny but really..it works. It's based on the idea about underwater divers cleaning their masks using saliva ...well go figure...Ken discovered that saliva also works on liner stench. Pat Donnelly Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 Aerosol deodorant / anti-perspirant applied to your feet before you put your socks on may help keep your feet from sweating thus reducing the odor.
