It turns out that I will need to be in a soft boot set-up so I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. I taught years ago but I was always in a hard boot and on an alpine board. I have just purchased a board that is 163, are there still 3 strap bindings? Are the best deals at H-house.com? Feed back would be greatly appreciated. durace Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 I taught for a few years and found Flow bindings were the easiest. I could start out with one foot in demo and put he second foot in while moving. Fast and easy out when you need to stand and walk with the "challenged" children. ncermak Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 For Me, when I am teaching (especially beginners), I prefer a shorter board with a pretty soft flex pattern. I find that if I don't have to work the board to bend it, or do things, it is much easier to demonstrate in slow motion, emphasizing some of the movements I am trying to teach. carvedog Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 While I don't really use them for anything "serious", I do really like my old Burton Step in binders and boots. Just for teaching at the lower levels, I think they are great. Im sure there are other thoughts out there and better all around binders. The quick in and out is great.
