bobdea
Wildcat get a room and two lift ticket for $100 http://www.thewildcatinn.com/specials.php we went out today and it was nuts, I ended up railing EC turns all day where the race course usually is. Wildcat is a smaller mountain but it seriously has the goods for a single day of carving OR if you want to ride the back side in the pow gear. bobdea
yup, she wants to go back next week and learn to tele today the EC turns were seriously getting the attention of the skiers, it was the snow and not me though, I have not thrown down like that in a long time between the shiny mirror board and the turns I was pulling off I was getting treated like a rockstar by the skiers the thing is that it was just so damn easy, the snow was hero for that to the point that it took me a couple runs to figure out how to ride on it because it was so grippy. dano
If I could only go to one mountain that would be it. Best spring conditions and view. No snotty attitudes there, just coolness, other than $8.50 for a 20 oz. Tucks ale. Yeah, that race trail is awesome...perfect pitch and width. "Bobcat" I think it's called... That figures huh, Bob? Most on the inns around there will give you 2 fer vouchers...not that they ever check.

dano
8.50 ??? I got a case of Tuck's in the trunk:rolleyes::D:biggthump;) CAT rules! where did you just stay dano? mt washington hotel ? http://www.northconwaygrand.com/ Yeah, I painfully ponied up for a draft and the wife was all bewildered as it was "only" 11 am. (????) Yeah we were at the North Conway Grand...it's just OK... it's connected to the outlet malls if your into that ...The hot tub was scary...always full of old & wrinkley fat broads shoulder to shoulder. No doubt with bladder control issues...they don't have enough stuff for all the guest rooms they have... At Wildcat, I still miss the old 2 seat gondies...You can communicate on the new quad... but no oral.
