skategoat
I was in NYC this week and I'm walking down 42nd St. near 7th Ave. and I see this guy standing on the sidewalk holding a snowboard in a BomberOnline bag. The last place I would expect to meet a hardbooter (next to Bangkok, that is). I stopped and said hello but didn't catch the guy's name. He said he's not a frequent visitor to this site but just in case, I just wanted to say hello again. I really wished I had a camera with me. yyzcanuck
Was it the hardbooter that was weird or was it the sighting of a hardbooter that was weird!!??
skategoat
The hardbooter appeared to be normal. He probably thought I was weird - a guy walking down the street, stops and starts chatting about snowboarding. Normal in Aspen. Weird in Manhattan. queequeg
HA! Jose, my first thought ....I KNEW it was You the weird turn pro Heh .. wasn't me, but it certainly would have been an fun coincidence to meet someone from this board just a few blocks from work. I was just commenting that nothing's weird in NYC. The only time I'm walking through the city with my board is friday afternoon, or 4:AM saturday mornings, when drunk people stare at me on the sidewalk while I'm waiting for the bus to VT, with me wishing I could still party like a wildman on Friday night and still make the bus at 4:30am.
