eaglez
Looking for input on this ebay listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200173835689&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123 It is for my 10 yr old son as a starter board. I know there are much more knowledgeable than me on this site so any and all opinions will be happily accepted. Thanks D.
bobdea
I'd get the Generics listed here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190172522298&ssPageName=MERCOSI_VI_ROSI_PR4_PCN_BIX&refitem=200173835689&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&refwidgettype=osi_widget way higher quality than the liquid boards
eaglez
Thanks Bob for the reply. I checked that one already, I have a 154 R17 that I think is too long at this point. And those guys won't ship to the Great White North anyway. D.
Chris Houghton
D. you need to find something with a narrower waist, and I agree that Liquid stuff is not the greatest..... What does your son weigh? Maybe Skategoat has something that will work.
skategoat
I still have the Prior 151. I checked out a Donek Pilot 149 last year and the shape and flex patterns were very similar to the Prior. The bindings are toast though but I have Burtons that could go with the Prior. Also D, I don't know if you noticed but that Addicted R17 154 is a stiff mother. There's no way my daughter at 100lbs could flex that thing last year. eaglez
Hey H, I was saving the R17 for when he was heavier anyway. He has the 135 that I got for him last year but I think he may be too big for it this year. So looking for something a little bigger but not 16 cm bigger. Honestly, I don't know if the 150 range would be good for him this year or not. It seems like a jump from the 135 in just one year. I am not sure of his weight right now, will check. Also, I didn't want to spend in the $300 range at this point anyway, and I think that was what you were looking for last season. D.
skategoat
That was with bindings. If you just want the board, we could talk offline. It's hard to find anything that is a GS flex and shape under 150. I guess you are finding that out.
Steve Prokopiw
Eaglez,if you wanted to have me order one of the generics boards on ebay and then ship it to you for actual costs,I would be willing to do so. There is a 149 from that seller with a 9.3 radius and 19.7 waist that could do the trick.Let me know
eaglez
Hey, thanks for the offer. I didn't check that sellers other auctions. That 149 might work. I emailed him to see if they would actually ship to the north if asked. Some will if they know you aren't a flake. I have lots of ebay feedback dating back 10 yrs and almost as much time on paypal. I might take you up on that generous offer if he won't ship to me. Thanks again, D.
