Pat Donnelly
From FirstTracksOnLine.com Killington, VT (Tuesday, March 9, 2004) - In an unprecedented move to restore mid-winter snow conditions following a spell of unseasonably warm weather in the Northeast, Killington Resort is recharging its snowmaking system for a late-season blitz. "We have never made this much snow in this many different places at this time of year," said Dave Lacombe, snow surfaces manager for Killington. "Killington is known as the king of spring. This year we'll live up to it and then some. From Snowdon Mountain to the Skyeship Base and Killington Peak to Snowshed, we're laying down the good stuff." Skiers and riders are being offered a special $229 March into Spring Pass that is valid every day of the week until the end of the season, which lasts through the month of May at Killington. The $229 March into Spring Pass is valid at all of American Skiing Company's eastern resorts including Killington, Pico, and Mount Snow in Vt., Attitash Bear Peak in N.H., and Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA in Maine. bobdea
that just means they sell off the loaf and the river and the buyers put some cash into those two great resorts

skategoat
I always disliked Killington. The runs are either cross-country level greens or killer double blacks. I could never find anything in between. And the "17 mile" run. What a joke. A 90 year old grandmother on x-country skiis would be bored on it.
