Pow
One of my buddies was worried about riding in the rain yesterday, he said his board might get waterlogged and warped. Is it really something to be concerned about, or is he just paranoid?

Gecko
depends on the age of the board...new boards no problem, older more beat up boards can and will start to de-laminate after a day or two of rain riding. I used to keep a board just for destroying on rainy days
Pow
i think he's mostly concerned about the wheel wells, which seem like completely exposed wood. I told him that if he's really worried just clearcoat it or something.
xxguitarist
if its completely sealed, its cool. if theres exposed wood (scratches, etc) it could be a problem. just clean out your bearings real well after each ride, and wipe down the trucks.
