Reverse camber, reverse sidecut skis are all over the place these days. Mostly as powder tools, but I've seen them on all sorts of days. I have a pair of Praxis Skis coming in the fall. I can't wait to try them out. They are more like Spatulas than Pontoons, but different from both - and made by a small, local ski builder. Butter baby! LeeW Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 Yeah, Im thinking of one particular skiis called "Spatula." As for the edging, its interesting to see how they bend the edges. What I did back then, was utilizing a screwdriver that has gap (i.e. filed in between) in between the edges, as in pronghorn and bend 'em steels. Of course, this is for mass-production in mind. Pontoons and Praxis basically expanded on that idea. I wish I had the chance to board in that kind of powder. I can understand having waterskis (practically) for some pow, but what do the banana shaped skis do for ya?
