Fastskiguy
Going for a quick 3 day trip in March to Summit county, not sure where to go to carve....last time I was there I was a skier ;) Any inside tips? Let's say I'm an intermediate carver and am looking for fall line green and blue runs, a high speed lift, and low numbers of people. Thanks :)
Kimo
I'm not the expert on all the different places, but I really liked the run Frenchman at Keystone and there were lots of other decent runs there. Under the Lenaway lift at A-Basin is ok.
carvin29
Oooohhhh this is an excellent topic. As I am leaving for Breck/Vail/Beaver Creek Sunday the 4th.
cliffh
I've only been to Copper but it was incredible. I'd go back in a second (mid-week of course)
Snowman
Power Line at A Basin or 1876/Centenial at Beaver Creek or Andys Encore at Copper oh there are just too many to choose from. Think Snow
carvin29
Looking at the BC trail map I've been salivating over Centennial.
big mario
Been there a few times, lots of great carving, and as you get tired, head over to arrowhead for some slightly mellower runs mario
jl1
Have not been back to Beaver Creek in 9 years but Centenial memories last a long time!!!
Steve Prokopiw
Copper was always my favorite when I lived down there. Every pitch you could want. Not as flat as Breck, not as skied off as Keystoned and not as small as A Basin.
Steve Prokopiw
I used to live and work at Copper a long time ago and still have friends there and I can say with a clear consience that is is the best place to carve in the Summit. Every pitch you could want and not as flat as Breck.
Fastskiguy
Copper would be easy to get to quick and I've always liked that place too. Now last time I was there I had a nice day but it seemed like everybody was skiing for 4 days for 99$ or something. 'Course I had a full price ticket. So what's the best deal now? Thanks again for the tips :)

You are probably referring to a 4-pack. A lot of resorts do them, but you have to buy them early in the season, maybe even before the resorts open for the season. Even Aspen does this so keep an eye out.

My wife just loves Buttermilk and I did it too. I'll keep my eyes open for 08!

You just need to be able to show up at one of the places that they are selling the classic pass at and get your picture taken. This usually happens in oct. or nov., and from that point on you can renew on line mario
