Fastskiguy
Getting some snowboard tuning stuff to compliment my trusty ski stuff....a vise, a new file, you know. Wondering how many of you guys popped for the snowboard truebar. I've got one for skis but it's just not quite long enough :( ! Just wondering if ya'll think it's worth it. Because, you know, I like doing what everybody else does. No, seriously, I'd probably only use it once in awhile to decided if I need a stone grind and then afterwards to see if it's really flat. Any favorite models? Thanks :)
abakker
correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't a good architecture scale ruler work? you can get them at staples for pretty cheap. Alex
Gecko
I've got a scroll weight that I got in Japan it's 10" wide and true enough from side to side that I don't see a difference. If you find a place that sells Japanese Calligraphy supplies they usually have them
jtslalom
I use a good framing square that has been milled on one side to a fine tolerance. I think you can use just about anything so long as it has been machined properly or has a very good manufactured edge.
Sinecure
Nope. Not anal enough. Bought a riller bar too, that I've never used. I just get a stone grind once in a while and ask them to put structure back in.

Fastskiguy
Tognar has an aluminum one for 12$....it's probably worth having. I'll add it to my snowboard tuning order :)
Derf
I made one out of stainless steel at work with a shear.
