wavechaser Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Looking for a race stock (or custom race for 190 lbs.) SL board. Prefer lightly used Tomahawk or Kessler with 20 cm or 21 cm waist width. If there are any race stock Burton FP's out there at that width in VG condition I'd consider those too. Quote
mackDan Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Wavechaser, You might check the European E-bay, specifically the german site. The words are pretty close to english, so its easy to find the snowboards. I have a couple Hot (brand) SL boards which I really like, but they might be a bit soft for racing in ruts. I ride them all over the mtn and like the fast turning abilities. You might try one of those. Also the Oxygen Proton SL boards are great. Quote
wavechaser Posted January 31, 2007 Author Report Posted January 31, 2007 Thanks Dan. I race SL on a 03-04 Hot blast 160 right now - and I agree, great fun freeriding as well - but I am looking for "race stock" or custom SL race boards only. My 160 is very stiff longitudinally, but actually too bouncy in ruts, because it is not race stock and therefore too soft tosionally, so it twists too much. Quote
tdifan_2003 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Check it out in the "For Sale" section. It's an oldish board, but has no more than 25 days on it. Millen Quote
Markman Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Please check the for sale section. I just posted my 05/06 Volkl RT 163 slalom. Thanks, Mark Quote
