I read in a Major Ski magazine a very in depth article about high altitude sickness/ & fatigue ! I'm sure I still have it somewhere ! I would like to see this article in its entirety published on here as it was Informative well written & very entertaining ! So If someone on here has it please post ! The article recommended (Viagra) in ski camp/ as it opens up capillaries increasing blood flow to all the major muscle groups / thus helping with Fatigue ! More oxygen to the muscles ((( It said it also helped Moral in ski camp you know Attitude at altitude !))) Last yr at SES I tried it & yes it Works! However the first one caught me by surprise a-little ! I went as far as to leave the Viagra package on the kitchen counter to get the maids talking ! they smiled & giggled a-lot when they seen me! I Went to the Dr. got a (free) 10 day sample pack ! sooooooo Enjoy the research !!!order yours today !!! Should be a standard issue item in our SES package! Except at Bomber house! pebu Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 I haven't heard of viagra, but I"ve heard of using ben-gay to open up the vessels to help prevent Reynauds Syndrome. That is the phenomenon where the blood vessels in your extremities constrict and your fingers and/or toes go numb and turn white. http://www.reference.com/browse/wiki/Raynaud's_phenomenon I get it in my hands and feet. Thor VonRippington Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Recon - at least you spelled Michelle's name correctly on this thread. I still want to know where you are staying at SES so I can keep far away. Quote
Jack M Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 My wife reps Viagra. (NO, I have not tried it) It was invented by accident. They were trying to develop something to treat Hypertension. And then they noticed this "side effect" that kept "popping up" in the trials. That's just what it does, opens up the veins and such to aid blood flow. Quote
D-Sub Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 interesting how programmed we are to turn to chemicals. It's literally reflexive at this point for most people. Quote

What happened was when it went into clinical trials for treating hypertension, none of the participants wanted to come off of the medication even though it was only having minimal effects on their blood pressure... Dr D Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 interesting how programmed we are to turn to chemicals. It's literally reflexive at this point for most people. an average of over 200 exposures to pharma advertising per day will do that to you!! Quote
D-Sub Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 no ****, man! It's insane! I dont watch a lot of TV, but when I do...I see all these ads, many of them don't even state what they're for, and then when they list the side effects they always sound worse than the "condition" they are supposed to alleviate. hell...when going from sea level to mammoth (8500?) in 6 hours, I am always sick the first night, and usually the 2nd too. I could use something like this, but I figure its more that I'm out of shape than anything... Quote

You will acclimate much quicker and will bypass the sick to your stomach stage. If that don't work then  GULLIBLEX might be right for you:biggthump Quote
