eaglez
I bought a Virus WCR80 from Chris last year. Exactly as advertised and rides like a dream!! D.
Mike T
... but I have two Donek Olympics that are too close in therms of spec.
Chris Houghton
Specs may be similar, performance is something else. Donek is great, I had a 180 GS that was a nice ride. Virus is something completely different. Anyway, this one is SOLD.
kamran
Congratulations to the new owner. I've got the exact same board and it's the best board I've ever had period.
eaglez
Hey Kamran, Thanks, I expect it to be everything my Virus WCR80 turned out to be and more. I also, bought that one from Chris last season and love it. An opportunity to get one of these boards doesn't come around everyday, so gotta just do it!! And Chris is local to me so don't have to worry about it getting to me in one piece. Now all we need is some snow out east here. D.
Thor VonRippington
Way to go D. ... If I hadn't just bought a pow stick I wouldn't have thought twice about it.
eaglez
I did think twice but how often do these come up for sale? Don't feel like having one shipped in from Germany for big $$$$$$. Can't wait for snow. D.
Thor VonRippington
Let your wife know that you are now obligated to come to SES and show off that new sled.
skategoat
I want to see you ride that thing at Snow Valley.
eaglez
Thor, I have actually been pricing flights out for that week. May just happen yet. I guess BOL will be posting the itinerary and ideas for where to bunk sometime before the event. I am bummed that the east coast one is only every 2 years now, and this is an off year. Skate, I think I will save this one for my inaugural visit to MSLM, or up in Collingwood at Blue or The Peaks.
Thor VonRippington
Yeah... Michelle posted it last night. SES ... AND you could pick up those boards for the kids
eaglez
That is a good idea. Another idea may be just to bring her along. What girl doesn't like a trip to Aspen? How do the SES folk take to skiers in their midst? Haven't been able to convert her yet.
Thor VonRippington
I've seen a few two plankers there... and Donek will likely have some nice demos for her to.
