Holmes
What is the difference in ride sensation going to be like with spings and without? I ride a Niddecker tornado and just picked up a 4x4, and use deeluxe indies. They sound nice in theory to me but maybe I should continue to get my act together technique wise before making any changes...Thoughts? Oh yeah I ride in Tahoe so ice is rarely an issue, in fact find snow hard enough to really carve seems to have been an issue last season! roman
the ride is more comfy. the boot can flex more through the links than with deforming the shell. result is: better edgegrip because a smoother ride. less leg fatigue because of a less bumpy ride. this is shortly how i feel the bts-ride:biggthump ride on! bobdea
good, they allow some rearward flex as well, a nice feature quite worth the money IMHO, they will out last your boots I bet
Silver
What difference (except rearward) in terms of flex of the boot with a modified RAB, i.e. the Deelluxe RAB with a softer spring? thanks Silver
bobdea
even with a soft spring the RAB can jam up and the back of it hits the shell at some point anyway
pokkis
RAB does not jam if you remove that useless stupid upper brass nut and replace spring with 60 or 80 mm long softer spring, then it works as it should Can not compare to BTS cause i've got only one set last season and new order is not shiped yet even season has started ;)
roman
...lucky guy, your season has started now... we have around 12 degrees C everyday now and no snow anywhere...
Silver
Hi Pokkis Keep us informed as soon as you have tested your BTS!:)
pokkis
Delivey is promised for mid December. My wife has riden last season with BTS and they looks to be working very well and she has been quite happy to those. As you see i was gentleman and installed them for her, not for my self
